Full-Time Remote LPC Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut
Job Summary
A remote behavioral health team is hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide teletherapy services to Connecticut clients. This role is focused on practical, consistent clinical care. You will meet with clients virtually, help them understand patterns affecting their mental health, support them in building coping strategies, and document care clearly after each session.
This position works well for an LPC who is organized, clinically thoughtful, and comfortable building therapeutic relationships through video-based care.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients for remote counseling appointments through a secure video platform
  • Complete new client evaluations and review mental health history, symptoms, and goals
  • Create treatment plans that reflect clinical needs and measurable progress areas
  • Support clients with coping skills, emotional regulation, communication concerns, and behavioral changes
  • Track progress throughout care and update treatment direction as needed
  • Complete clinical notes and required documentation within expected timelines
  • Respond appropriately to client safety concerns, mandated reporting needs, or crisis situations
  • Follow Connecticut telehealth practice standards, HIPAA rules, and professional ethics

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active Connecticut Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, couples, families, or diverse client populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress notes
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
  • Able to work independently while maintaining strong clinical judgment
  • Telehealth experience or additional training in CBT, trauma-informed care, DBT, or related areas is a plus
