• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ mental health and substance use histories and needs, using tools like the ASI (Addiction Severity Index).
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with individual goals, incorporating evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Implement tailored interventions and therapeutic techniques to address clients’ emotional and behavioral challenges effectively.
• Maintain and document accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate holistic care and facilitate referral processes as needed.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health, recovery strategies, and available resources to empower their treatment journey.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health and substance use disorder treatments to enhance the quality of care provided.

Your role will focus on clients at our detox center, many of whom have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression in connection with their substance use issues. You will work closely with individuals from various demographics, recognizing the unique challenges posed by their backgrounds and experiences. By providing compassionate care and advocacy, you'll help clients navigate their journey towards recovery and stability.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, enabling you to engage in therapeutic practices competently.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in settings that cater to substance use and mental health issues.
• Proficient in solution-focused therapeutic approaches and skilled in delivering trauma-informed care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess complex situations and devise appropriate interventions.
• A collaborative mindset conducive to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings is preferred, as is familiarity with community resource systems. The ability to handle crisis situations and provide emergency interventions will also enhance your contributions to our center.
