The outpatient office setting at Piedmont Care encourages flexibility in work schedules while adhering to core hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Some variation in hours may be required based on individual patient needs to ensure they receive the timely support they seek.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and intake interviews, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
• Implement therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customizing interventions based on the complexities of each case.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and relevant guidelines, to ensure client privacy and care quality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals, to coordinate care and share insights that enhance service delivery.
• Participate actively in case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community services, aiming to empower them through knowledge.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and research in mental health to maintain a high standard of care and professionalism.

The focus of your work will primarily be with diverse adult populations, many of whom face significant mental health challenges stemming from trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings and experiences, ultimately promoting healing and growth.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid, active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and the ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each client effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a keen ability to connect with clients, their families, and other professionals.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective intervention strategies and patient engagement.
• A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team-oriented environment, valuing the insights and diversity of colleagues.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly outpatient or community-based services, will be considered a significant asset.
• Exposure to and training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to trauma-informed care and advanced therapeutic techniques.
