As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will be wide-ranging and impactful, ensuring that clients receive tailored therapeutic interventions. Key tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of patient mental health to identify their needs and establish comprehensive treatment plans that utilize best practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), aligned with the unique needs and preferences of each client.
• Maintaining high standards of record-keeping; ensuring that all clinical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations and is kept current and accurate.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create a cohesive and effective care approach for our clients.
• Participating in regular peer review meetings and case consultations to promote quality assurance and enhance treatment efficacy.
• Providing education to clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment paths, and community resources to support comprehensive care.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health, integrating those findings into your clinical practice to optimize patient care.
• Managing a full caseload of patients and ensuring that therapeutic goals are achieved efficiently.
• Adhering to ethical guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and related professional organizations.

You will work with a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing a unique set of challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. The goal is to create individualized care strategies that harness the strengths of each patient while addressing their mental health concerns, ultimately leading them towards a path of healing and wellness.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively devise treatment strategies.
• Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while being self-motivated and organized in your work.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy methodologies.
• Previous experience mentoring or training junior staff is a plus.
• Understanding of community resources and support systems relevant to mental health.
