• Coordinate daily project activities involving internal and external resources to support Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction activities from pre-construction (Early Stage) through to the Construction stage for BESS projects within the E&C Business Unit.
• Manage critical coordination of highly matrixed project development teams to ensure resources are focused on the right activities to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection, and other project variables to ensure comprehensive project development.
• Develop and optimize the project’s technical scope and variables to improve both technical and financial feasibility.
• Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations, as well as jurisdictional requirements.
19912 (remote) Required:
• The ideal candidate resides within the region (Juno Beach, FL) and near a major airport and is able to support approximately 50% travel.
• Experience in project coordination, project management, operations, or renewable energy environments (4+ years);
19912 (remote) Preferred:
• Experience in renewable energy, power generation, or battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with project management methodologies or certifications (PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt)
• Experience supporting multi-site or geographically distributed projects
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple assigned Solar projects through the Early-Stage process independently, ensuring each project is technically feasible, commercially supported, and financially viable for turnover to the Construction team;
• Own and actively manage assigned project capital budgets through the full approval process, including proactive monitoring, reporting, and resolution of budget-related issues;
• Coordinate and leverage subject matter experts across engineering, permitting, safety, and construction disciplines to facilitate problem resolution, drive optimization, and develop viable construction plans and schedules;
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance through walk downs, acceptance validation against design requirements, resource allocation assessment, constructability verification, and payment request reviews;
• Ensure compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals while managing scope control, work-in-progress tracking, and performance reporting across all assigned projects;
• Negotiate and execute commercial contracts while coordinating project activities with regulatory agencies, landowners, local community officials, executive leadership, and other stakeholders;
• Analyze technical and financial data, extrapolate key variables and market trends, support process and efficiency initiatives, and report on critical project indicators to the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager.
