Job description

About the role and team

Working at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. As a Sr. Account Representative III, SMB for Uber for Business (U4B), you will be the engine behind our growth, navigating a landscape where digital and real-world movement intersect to create tangible impact for millions. This role is about more than just hitting a quota; it requires the grit to handle high-volume prospecting while providing a consultative, "Uber-first" experience in a territory you truly own.

Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don't come with a script. You will face the invigorating challenge of a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and legacy complexity is the norm. We are looking for resilient and resourceful individuals who are energized by the messy reality of doing big things and who can build long-term partnerships without a predefined playbook.

What you'll do

  • Lead the charge in prospecting, pitching, and closing partnerships with diverse decision-makers within the SMB segment for the latest U4B products.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline using Salesforce, forecasting with discipline and hitting aggressive bi-annual and quarterly targets.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to gain client commitment, using a consultative approach to probe for objections and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate across operations, marketing, product, and legal to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale.
  • Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for clients and for Uber.
  • Manage hundreds of prospects simultaneously with high organization, ensuring every follow-through is professional and timely.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months of full-cycle B2B sales experience OR 24 months of BDR experience.
  • Proven experience in a quota-carrying role with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience developing an account prioritization framework and contact identification strategies.
  • Ability to search for and identify prospective business opportunities aligned with business strategy.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, consumption-based technology, or high-growth environments.
  • Expertise in leveraging data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and track performance.
  • Systems thinker with proficiency in using Salesforce CRM to manage high-volume pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move with urgency while balancing precision and care.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams such as Legal, Marketing, and Operations.

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.
