Title: HR Coordinator  
Location: 100% remote role (EST zone hours; starting no later than 9am EST) 
Contract: W2 only, 5-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI 
Pay: $17/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match 

Overview 

Provide operational and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Operations Services (TAOS) Drug & Background (D&B) Team. Working closely with compliance partners, HR, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders, this role supports drug screening and background review operations, case management activities, process execution, and stakeholder communications to help ensure an efficient, compliant, and positive candidate experience. The role will support day-to-day operational workflows and administrative activities that enable the D&B team to effectively manage review volumes, escalations, and program initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the TAOS Drug & Background (D&B) Team. 

  • Support drug screening and background review operations. 

  • Support case management activities, process execution, and stakeholder communications. 

  • Support day-to-day operational workflows and administrative activities enabling the D&B team to manage review volumes, escalations, and program initiatives. 

  • Work closely with compliance partners, HR, Talent Acquisition, adjudicators, and other stakeholders. 

  • Log in and work within a case management system to review all new tickets. 

  • Pull information from multiple systems and document tickets accurately; ensure tickets have appropriate actions taken. 

  • Support review of background findings and decisioning on suitability for hire. 

  • Manage high-volume workloads (tickets can be open 1–7 days; may work 45–60 tickets at a time). 

Required Skills 

  • Case management tool experience 

  • Ability to handle high-volume ticket workloads (45–60 tickets at a time) 

  • Professional communication skills 

  • Adjudication experience 

  • HR experience (beneficial) 

  • HR experience specifically in compliance and risk management 

  • Compliance and risk management knowledge/experience 

  • Ability to pull information from multiple systems and document accurately in tickets 

  • Experience working with adjudicators, HR stakeholders, and compliance partners
