Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Home Health, PRN
Selectively hiring for Home Health PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). We are an elite home health therapy team. We are not looking for just employees, we are looking for autonomous individuals to contract with to provide compassionate therapy services. You are your own boss. Essential Functions & Responsibilities of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Deliver physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall function
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress/concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Accurately document patient visits, interventions, and progress as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and caregivers to support continued progress
Qualifications for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Active license from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Valid Florida driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass AHCA Clearinghouse background screening (https://info.flclearinghouse.com)
  • Current in-person CPR certification
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, bending, lifting, and assisting patients/equipment
  • Strong customer service, communication skills and effective listening
Experience Preferred for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience
Compensation for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Pay is commensurate with Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience, Home Health background, and documentation proficiency
