Account Manager - Dietary Supplements - Remote
Position Summary
The Account Manager is key in driving regional revenue growth and strengthening high-value customer relationships within the Americas H&W commercial team. This position oversees strategic partnerships, expands market share in Dietary Supplements (DS) and Food and Beverage (F&B) market segments, and shapes commercial strategies to achieve aggressive business targets. Responsibilities include leading sales efforts, high-level presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize ADM's H&W business success.
Education and Experience Requirements 
  • Bachelor's degree required in Science, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5  years of business-to-business (B2B) technical sales experience in the Dietary Supplements. Microbiome sales preferred
  • Demonstrated success in strategic account and territory management, contract negotiations, and revenue generation.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, notably Salesforce and Power BI.
Location
  • Remote with travel (approximately 40%) for customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
Major Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers to drive revenue growth and market expansion and Quarterly Business Reviews to track progress.
  • Develop strong strategic relationships within key customers R&D, Marketing, and Sourcing Depts. and foster relationships within their organization.
  • Lead and manage customer negotiations and relationships.
  • Provide strategic direction for your business, ensuring alignment with ADM's business objectives.
  • Drive new business development initiatives and expand existing customer partnerships.
  • Oversee and maintain utilization of Salesforce and Power BI for sales efficiency.
  • Maintain S&OP sales forecasting, market analysis, and competitive intel for your business.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a thought leader, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Coordinates with Customer Service to provide excellent service levels to customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with CD&D, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless customer experience and maximize business execution.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
