Job description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud architectures across Azure, OCI, and GCP environments
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins to enable automated, reliable software and infrastructure delivery
  • Design and implement cloud networking solutions, including virtual networks, routing, connectivity, and security controls
  • Leverage emerging Agentic AI tools and capabilities to enhance automation, operational intelligence, and cloud management efficiency
  • Occasional travel within continental U.S. as needed, up to 5%
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions in public cloud environments (Azure, OCI required) or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 7 to 9 plus years of specific experience
  • Deep expertise in DevOps practices, with a strong track record of automating infrastructure and application delivery.
  • Advanced experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins with minimal oversight.
  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks, including Terraform and Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of source control management using GitHub, including branching strategies and GitFlow methodologies.
  • Experience administering and supporting both Windows and Linux server environments in the cloud.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience developing and deploying autonomous or semi-autonomous agents to automate operational or development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar agentic AI platforms to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, OCI Architect Professional, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  • DevOps and automation certifications (e.g., HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Kubernetes certifications, or similar).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Azure Monitor).
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and FinOps practices.
  • Experience implementing zero-trust architectures or advanced cloud security frameworks.
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture, serverless computing, and modern application design patterns.
  • GCP highly preferred.
