Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design and establish secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures. The role will focus on Azure landing zones, cloud governance, reference architectures, disaster recovery, networking, and adoption of modern Azure services.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and document reusable Azure Greenfield reference architectures, architecture blueprints, and deployment patterns.

  • Design and optimize Azure Landing Zones, platform services, and cloud archetypes.

  • Define and implement cloud architecture standards, patterns, best practices, governance frameworks, and technical guardrails.

  • Evaluate and recommend Azure services for Greenfield adoption while supporting cloud service governance and sanctioning processes.

  • Conduct architecture reviews for new workloads, application modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.

  • Design highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions aligned with enterprise requirements.

  • Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) strategies, facilitate testing with stakeholders, and document test results.

  • Apply Shift-Left and GuardRight security practices throughout the cloud architecture lifecycle.

  • Design Azure networking solutions, including Hub-and-Spoke architectures and Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN).

  • Develop reusable architecture blueprints, platform patterns, and infrastructure deployment standards.

  • Establish cloud governance controls, security policies, compliance requirements, and platform guardrails.

  • Collaborate with Security, Identity & Access Management, Platform Engineering, and Governance teams.

  • Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform and Azure CLI.

  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and technical decisions using Confluence and related tools.

  • Track architecture initiatives, risks, and deliverables using Jira and ServiceNow.

  • Leverage cloud security and posture management tools such as Wiz to support secure Azure adoption.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones, platform services, and cloud governance.
