AWS DevOps Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

This project is at the crossroads of blockchain, cyber, and AI. We are hiring an AWS DevOps Platform Engineer to support an internal platform and internally managed service for a proxy-based AI gateway. The focus of the tech stack will be EKS/ Kubernetes, terraform, and python. This is a team of very strong engineers, and we are seeking confident and creative engineers to join this team.

There is an on-call aspect for this team (including the Director), 4-week rotation where you spend 1 week on call - for the internal platform and shipped products using the platform (stuff you build).

This team is not authorized to use 3rd party code (no AI assisted code) - be ready to build using YOUR skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

  • Build and automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.

  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across production environments.

  • Partner with software engineers, security teams, and operations personnel to improve platform resiliency.

  • Support compliance, accreditation, and operational requirements for government-focused environments.

  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive root-cause analysis.

  • Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term platform strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps platform engineering

  • Strong experience with AWS technologies

  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.

  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms.

  • Strong python programming skills

  • Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

  • Experience supporting highly available, secure production systems.

Preferred Qualifications
