Who We're Looking For

We're currently seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform to help us build and support robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure across AWS environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in highly collaborative environments, is passionate about automation, and brings a consulting mindset to everything they do.

The candidate's technical proficiency should be complemented by a consultant mindset, including excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations. Overall, we are looking for a candidate who is excited about being part of a high performing group and will be energized to help the team succeed. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform with a focus on repeatability and automation.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and security teams to implement scalable, secure cloud solutions.
  • Implement infrastructure best practices and enforce coding standards around infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Support containerized applications using ECS, EKS, or Docker on AWS.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AWS resources using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
  • Implement and manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions according to security and compliance best practices.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, infrastructure planning, and cost-optimization efforts.
  • Contribute to documentation and internal DevOps playbooks to improve onboarding and knowledge sharing
Some Must-Haves
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
  • Deep knowledge and production experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, security groups, and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with container orchestration (EKS, ECS) a plus.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in the AWS ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a distributed, fast-paced team environment

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
