Impact Advisors is seeking a strategic, relationship-oriented Director, AWS Cloud Alliances to lead and operationalize our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a non-billable leadership role dedicated exclusively to AWS and focused on driving growth through alliance strategy, joint go-to-market execution, enablement, and program activation.
The Director will serve as the primary liaison between AWS and Impact's sales, marketing, and delivery teams ensuring alignment, accelerating pipeline, advancing technical competencies, and maximizing participation in AWS partner programs. This role is critical to strengthening Impact's cloud strategy and expanding our presence across healthcare and regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Alliance Strategy & Leadership
• Own and manage the strategic AWS partnership across Partner Development, sales, technical, marketing, and program teams.
• Develop and execute an annual joint business plan aligned to Impact's growth strategy and AWS priorities.
• Act as the internal authority on AWS partner strategy, programs, and engagement models.
Sales Enablement & Opportunity Acceleration
• Serve as the central coordinator for AWS-sourced and Impact-sourced pipeline, ensuring proper qualification and joint pursuit.
• Facilitate co-sell motions, opportunity reviews, and pipeline health discussions with AWS and Impact sales leadership.
• Partner with delivery leaders to shape AWS-aligned offerings that improve win rates and accelerate deal cycles.
Go-To-Market & Marketing Execution
• Lead joint AWS + Impact GTM initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, events, case studies, and thought leadership.
• Develop repeatable GTM assets aligned to AWS solution areas such as migration, data & analytics, Epic on AWS, Amazon Connect, security, and cloud modernization.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and market differentiation.
AWS Programs & Partner Operations
• Own internal readiness, execution, and compliance for AWS partner programs, including:
o Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA)
o Migration Acceleration Program (MAP)
o Epic on AWS
o Amazon Connect
o Other AWS incentive and solution programs
• Ensure effective use of AWS funding, reporting, and program governance.
Certification & Capability Development
• Oversee AWS training, certification pathways, and cloud competency development across Impact.
• Ensure alignment with AWS Partner Tier and competency requirements.
• Coordinate AWS-funded enablement activities, immersion days, and technical workshops.
Reporting & Executive Governance
• Provide regular visibility into pipeline, revenue influence, partner KPIs, certification progress, and AWS scorecard performance.
• Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with AWS and Impact executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud alliances, partner management, channel strategy, or cloud business development.
• Deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including co-sell motions, partner programs, incentives, and operating models.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, delivery, and finance.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or specialty certifications).
• Experience supporting healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated workloads on AWS (including Epic on AWS).
• Familiarity with cloud migration, data modernization, cloud-native architectures, or contact center platforms.
• Prior experience building alliance-driven GTM motions within a consulting or professional services environment.
• Remote or hybrid role with periodic travel to AWS offices, Impact locations, client sites, or industry events.
• Fast-paced, growth-oriented environment requiring initiative, autonomy, and collaboration.
