• [Project Scope]
1. Language Pair: Simplified Chinese (ZHCN) → Brazilian Portuguese (PTBR)
2. Domain: IT / Technology legal contracts, service agreements
3. Service: MTPE+PR
4. Expected throughput benchmark:
- MTPE: 600 words per working day
- Proofreading: 1200 words per working day
• [Responsibilities]
1. Perform MTPE (machine translation post-editing) or proofreading for IT-legal contract content; ensure terminology accuracy, legal consistency, logical fluency and compliance with Brazilian Portuguese writing conventions.
2. Strictly follow style guides, term bases and project requirements.
3. Deliver assigned tasks on schedule; communicate proactively in case of ambiguities or delays.
4. Participate in mandatory project-specific qualification test before formal project engagement.
[Who We Are Looking For]
1. Native-level Brazilian Portuguese is preferred; non-native linguists with solid PTBR competence will also be considered.
2. Hands-on experience translating or editing legal / IT-contract content is a strong plus.
3. Familiarity with CAT tools (MemoQ, Memsource/Phrase, Smartcat etc.).
4. Stable availability, able to meet daily output benchmark.
5. Willing to complete our mandatory unpaid qualification assessment for IT-legal domain.
