KEY COMPETENCIES OF THE ROLE
  • Operates Effectively - Manages multiple concurrent tasks and competing priorities with strong organizational habits, reliable follow-through, and attention to deadlines.
  • Judgment / Decision Making - Brings attention to detail and analytical rigor to all work; recognizes when to proceed independently and when to escalate or seek input from others.
  • Conceptual Ability - Demonstrates curiosity about the relationship between data and program design; able to understand context well enough to ask better questions and produce more useful analyses.
  • Verbal and Written Communication - Translates quantitative findings into accessible narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders; documents analytical work clearly for team collaboration and continuity.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • You embody our core values : Prioritize People, Initiate and Innovate, Lifelong Learning, Creative Collaboration, Purposeful Partnerships and Considered Confidence.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or a related field; relevant internship experience considered

  • Experience with or strong interest in developing skills in Metabase or comparable BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of Python and R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with Git
  • Comfort working with imperfect, uncurated data and a practical mindset for navigating data quality challenges
  • Familiarity with or enthusiasm for applying enterprise AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted querying, summarization, or workflow automation) to improve the efficiency and quality of analytical work
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, fully remote environment
  • Commitment to educational equity and curiosity about how data can improve outcomes for students
