Job description

Acura of Highland Park, a proud member of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technicians to join our growing service team.

New leadership is focused on rebuilding the service department and growing technician hours, creating strong earning opportunities and long-term career growth for technicians who want to develop their skills and advance in the industry.
If you have basic mechanical experience, trade school training, or quick-service background and want to grow into a full automotive technician career, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services.
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections.
Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics.
Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
Follow dealership service procedures and safety standards.
Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommendations.
Participate in manufacturer training and skill development.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
Trade school or prior shop experience preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
