About ALC

At Automated Logic, we've been developing and supporting intelligent building solutions that have helped customers, including small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, operate their buildings more efficiently for over 40 years. Our solutions help reduce energy consumption, lower utility, operating and maintenance costs, and improve indoor air quality, occupant comfort, and productivity. Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets.

About This Role

At Automated Logic, our Building Automation Sales Manager is at the forefront of delivering trusted solutions that empower our customers. You'll represent a brand that's already respected in the field, with a reputation engineers rely on and customers appreciate. Rather than convincing others of our value, you'll focus on truly understanding each client's unique building needs and leading your team to provide meaningful, service-driven solutions that make a difference.

As a Building Automation Sales Manager at Automated Logic, you are the driving force behind our regional service excellence and the supportive leader of a motivated, customer-focused team. You'll do more than oversee a department, you'll inspire outside and inside sales professionals to collaborate, innovate, and go the extra mile for our clients. By championing teamwork and a spirit of service, you'll unite sales, engineering, and operations to deliver seamless, impactful solutions that exceed expectations and strengthen our community of satisfied customers.

What you get

  • Competitive compensation with a clear, straightforward commission structure
  • Long-term stability in a year-round industry with top-tier leadership.
  • Autonomy to drive branch sales strategies with strong, seasoned internal support.
  • A clear path to leadership with opportunities to influence regional operations and advance within the broader Automated Logic global network.
  • Access to cutting-edge building technologies and continuous professional development to keep you at the forefront of the BAS industry.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the Sales Team

  • Market Analysis: Analyze the market to achieve profitability, growth, and market penetration.
  • Owner Alignment: Identify owner strategic goals and metrics and align ALC (and Carrier) offerings with those goals to build new opportunities and services
  • Coordinate Strategic Account Reviews: Work with the sales team to develop strategic account plans showing ALC's position within an existing or targeted account and how we will become more influential to become a trusted advisor rather than just another vendor.

Execute as One Team

  • Branch Collaboration: Participate on the branch management team and partner with Engineering, Operations, and Service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ethics & Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal requirements and maintain the highest business ethics.

Who You Are

  • An Aspiring or Proven Leader: You have a track record of leading teams-whether in Sales, Project Management, Operations, or Service-and you are ready to coach a high-performing sales force.
  • A Strategic Architect: You understand the "big picture" of a building's lifecycle and can translate technical challenges into winning business strategies.
  • A Customer-Centric, Results-Oriented Leader: You lead diverse teams across Sales, Project Management, Operations, and Service with a focus on delivering solutions that directly address your clients' most important business challenges. Your approach prioritizes understanding each customer's unique needs and aligning your strategies to create tangible value for their organization-whether by optimizing processes, reducing operational costs, enhancing revenue, or enabling growth. You empower your sales force to work proactively, not just meeting project requirements, but solving problems that drive real business impact and long-term partnership.

  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in sales, operations, or related functions
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the ability to leverage data and KPIs to drive performance
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and contribute to regional growth initiatives
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally across sales, engineering, and operations teams
