Automotive Technician – Mechanical Claims Adjuster (Work from Home)
Location: Remote, U.S.
Pay: $25/hour | Full-time
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm CST

Are you an experienced auto mechanic looking to transition out of the garage? Would you prefer a steady hourly wage rather than flat rate pay? Interested in working from the comfort of your home?

Kelly Services, in partnership with Nissan North America, is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team as a Mechanical Claims Adjuster. This is a fully remote opportunity with excellent promotional potential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephone and email support throughout the claims life cycle for Nissan Security+Plus, Infiniti Elite, Mitsubishi Diamond Care, and QualityGuard+Plus vehicle service contracts
  • Work with dealerships and service advisors to approve or deny claims
  • Verify contract coverage and eligibility to NESNA policies
  • Ascertain appropriate parts and labor charges, provide preapprovals, facilitate inspections, and secure vendor parts
  • Perform research using available tools to adjudicate claims according to NESNA policy
  • Assist service contract policy holders and repair facilities
  • Conduct transactions in accordance with NESNA policies and procedures to ensure proper fund usage and timely completion of repair claims

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Automotive Technician (dealership, aftermarket, or independent shop preferred)
  • ASE Certification or demonstrated mechanical acumen
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other PC applications
  • Typing speed of at least 30 wpm
  • Solid work history
