Job description

Revenue Cycle Medical Billing – Auto Accidents & Third-Party Liability Representative

Location:  Remote or On-Site, United States

Hourly Compensation: $16

(this position is bonus eligible)

Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm Central

JOB SUMMARY

The Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Auto Accidents & Third-Party Liability (MVC) Representative will work with auto insurance carriers, patients and medical partners to verify coverage and submit applicable claims. They will problem solve and research to resolve coordination of benefits issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Utilize telephone and online resources to research auto related transports.
  • Complete adjuster follow-ups.
  • Work together to achieve team and departmental goals.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year working in a medical billing environment
  • Ability to work Independently or as an active member of a team
  • Knowledge and experience of computers and related technology, at an intermediate level
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Office 365

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of six (6) months working in a call center environment
  • Minimum of six (6) months working in a customer service position
  • Above average knowledge of Government billing guidelines

Preferred Education: 

  • High school diploma
  • GED
  • Or significant, relevant work experience
