Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and associated mental health issues.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying psychological conditions.
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions as well as group therapy meetings that utilize evidence-based methodologies, ensuring a supportive environment for all participants.
• Working collaboratively with other specialists on the treatment team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Providing education and support to clients' families, helping them understand the recovery process and encouraging their involvement.
• Maintaining diligent and accurate records to comply with state and federal regulations, ensuring that all documentation is completed promptly.

This position focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various stages of substance abuse recovery. You will work with clients from varying backgrounds, each with unique challenges that require tailored interventions. Our clients often struggle with co-occurring mental health disorders, meaning that you will also address issues related to anxiety, depression, and trauma, making your skills integral to holistic recovery.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid license in one of the following areas: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required, with a Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and co-occurring disorder treatment.
• Strong therapeutic skills and the ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

While not mandatory, preferred applicants will have:

• Hands-on experience working in substance abuse treatment settings or community health clinics.
• Specialized training in evidence-based practices for addiction treatment.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions successfully.
