This role is open to candidates in Denver or the US West Coast.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Product Manager - Clinical Audiology who brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and product intuition. If you are a licensed or former Audiologist (Au.D.) or Hearing Instrument Specialist who has transitioned into product management or health tech software, this role is tailor-made for you.
You know firsthand what it's like to conduct audiograms, fit hearing aids, manage chart notes, and navigate clinical documentation under tight patient schedules. In this role, you will serve as the internal voice of the clinician, optimizing our clinical charting, audiogram interpretation tools, Noah/equipment integrations, and provider workflows. You will also leverage modern Agentic AI tools to draft technical specifications, streamline clinical documentation features, and design smart clinical templates.
Tech Stack & Tools
  • AI Tooling & Productivity: Claude 4.6+, GPT 5.4+, Windsurf, Cursor, and modern AI prototyping tools.
  • Clinical & Hardware Integrations: HIMSA Noah framework, audiometer data exchange, SOAP notes, and clinical documentation engines.
  • Core Systems: Audiology EMR/EHR modules, chart note builders, and care plan templates.

Key Pillars of Responsibility
  • Clinical Roadmap & Domain Authority: Lead the strategy and prioritization for Sycle's core clinical suite-including audiogram capture, clinical charting, fitting workflows, and medical history modules.
  • Clinician-First Design: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on audiology workflows. Translate real-world clinical procedures into streamlined, low-click software features that reduce provider burnout.
  • Equipment & Industry Integrations: Define requirements for seamlessly connecting Sycle with industry-standard audiology equipment, HIMSA/Noah software databases, and diagnostic devices.
  • Agentic Execution: Harness AI agents to draft clinical documentation rules, create structured SOAP note templates, and accelerate product specification workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with engineering, UX design, and clinical advisory boards to ensure new features align with clinical compliance and real-world practice needs.

Skills & Requirements
  • Clinical Background: Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.), Master's in Audiology, or certified Hearing Instrument Specialist background required.
  • Product & Software Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in product management, health informatics, or clinical workflow design within a digital health or EMR software company.
  • Domain Expertise: Direct experience with audiological evaluations, hearing aid fitting protocols, SOAP charting, and industry equipment standards (HIMSA / Noah software).
  • Agentic Proficiency: Familiarity with using modern AI tools to draft specs, design workflows, or automate administrative tasks.
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between clinical language and technical engineering requirements.

Bonus Points
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or pragmatic framework certification.
  • Experience with ambient AI clinical scribing or automated chart summarization tools.

What Success Looks Like
  • Reduced Documentation Time: Noticeably decreasing the time clinicians spend on chart notes between patient visits.
  • High Clinician Satisfaction: Designing intuitive clinical tools that audiologists and hearing specialists love using every day.
  • Seamless Integration: Ensuring flawless data sync between diagnostic audiology equipment, Noah databases, and Sycle patient records.

Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision: Sycle pays employee-only premiums at 100% for base plans.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Pre-tax options for Health ($3,400/yr) and Dependent Care ($7,500/yr).
  • Life & Disability: Voluntary Life/AD&D; Short-Term (60% up to $2,000/week) and Long-Term (60% up to $7,500/month) Disability.
  • 401(k) with Matching: 100% match on the first 3% of salary deferrals, plus 50% match on the next 2%-with no vesting schedule.
  • Time Off: Paid holidays (~14 days), 12 vacation days, 4 personal days, and 9 sick days.
  • Perks: $50/month internet stipend and tuition reimbursement.
