What you will be doing:
  • Schedules and provides technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.
  • Tests and troubleshoots Franklin Electric products. Supervises and assists at product installations.
  • Promotes and represents Franklin Electric products and programs at tradeshows and special events. Conducts product demonstrations as needed.
  • Collects and reports marketing information pertaining to competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, and customer needs or desires.
  • Writes and submits weekly reports, as well as special reports needed to highlight problems at specific sites and/or with certain customers or products.
  • Interprets an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and/or other employees of the organization.

What you need:
  • Three to five years of related water systems or industry experience (preferred).

  • Travels 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent overnight travel.
