Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center is actively seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist specialized in mood disorders. This role is fully remote, allowing you to provide care to patients effectively from the comfort of your own home. As a crucial member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals facing challenges with conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, making a tangible difference in their mental health journey.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive and collaborative remote work environment. Our telehealth framework allows for flexible scheduling, and we prioritize a healthy work-life balance. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis. You will connect with clients and colleagues using secure video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems designed to create a seamless therapeutic experience.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Bright Tomorrow, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Developing customized treatment plans that align with the individual goals and preferences of each client.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders.
• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment methods, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitoring client progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on evolving needs.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.
• Keeping up to date with the latest research findings to enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment strategies in compliance with ethical standards.
• Participating in team meetings and professional development initiatives to refine your skills and share best practices.
• Advocating for clients to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders and to enhance their mental health accessibility.

Your role will focus predominantly on individuals struggling with mood disorders. This includes a diverse array of adults from various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and experiences to their mental health journey. You will be instrumental in helping these clients navigate their emotional landscapes, establish coping mechanisms, and work towards recovery in a remote setting.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuous education and professional development in mental health.

While all applications are welcome, ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing specifically on mood disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.
• Strong collaborative skills and a sound understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively partner with medical professionals.
• A proven ability to achieve successful outcomes in treating individuals with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
