Aftermarket Regional Sales Manager

80% Travel Requirement

The present company was formed in 1959 when the Magnethermic Corporation acquired the assets of Ajax Electrothermic Corp. combining their expertise and capabilities.

Position Summary:

The Aftermarket Regional Sales Manager develops and manages all sales activities within the assigned territory to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and leading cross-functional collaboration with sales, estimating, engineering, and marketing. The position reports to the Customer Service Manager, Aftermarket Parts and may be remote/home office based within the assigned region.

Job Duties:

- Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.

- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.

- Establish and maintain senior-level customer relationships to support long-term partnerships.

- Provide accurate monthly and annual forecasts (Book/Bill) and report on market trends and competitor activity.

- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and marketing to align proposals and strategies with customer needs.

- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and technical societies.

- Ensure seamless communication across departments to meet delivery schedules and customer commitments.

- Protect and enhance the company’s reputation through professional representation and customer service.

- Lead and support account planning, territory assignments, and quota setting within the region.

- Conduct regular customer visits, including frequent travel and overnight stays as required.

What you need to be successful:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with a preference for Electrical, Mechanical, or Metallurgical

- 5 or more years of B2B sales experience with capital equipment, custom engineered electromechanical products or automation.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM systems.

- Valid US driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in induction heating and melting equipment an asset.
