Our community health clinic, open from Monday to Saturday, encourages both synchronous and asynchronous patient interactions. As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to understand their unique needs.
• Designing and implementing graduate-level clinical social work/counseling interventions tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Communicating effectively with team members to enhance interdisciplinary care by sharing insights and updates during meetings and clinical rounds.
• Exercising clinical judgment to meet the psychological, educational, and safety needs of patients across diverse age groups.
• Providing case management services, ensuring collaboration with hospital and community professionals for holistic patient support.
• Maintaining ethical standards through timely and accurate documentation in compliance with departmental policies.
• Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities to support patients and facilitate their recovery journey.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your ability to connect authentically with patients from different backgrounds will be vital in promoting engagement and fostering a therapeutic alliance. You will cater to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions, delivering customized interventions that enhance their overall well-being.

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related mental health field is required.
• A commitment to working a minimum of 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours as needed.

We prefer candidates who have a minimum of two years of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and the execution of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Familiarity with community health resources and a strong background in collaborative care practices will be considered assets in this role.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
