• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments aimed at understanding clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and resources to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive, holistic approach to patient care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that articulate specific goals and interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Engage in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as necessary, ensuring the well-being of clients at all times.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes to promote community support and shared recovery experiences.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to both ethical and legal standards as mandated by regulatory bodies.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to maintain alignment with organizational objectives and share insights regarding client progress.

The Clinical Social Worker will work with a diverse client population primarily focused on individuals experiencing substance use disorders and those seeking detoxification support. Our clients often present with complex histories that may include co-occurring mental health conditions. The successful candidate will provide culturally competent care, fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding that resonates with our clients' unique experiences.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• At least two years of direct experience in a mental health or outpatient setting; experience in a detox or substance use facility is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches for treating mental health conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues alike.

• Experience with teletherapy platforms or virtual care tools.
• Knowledge of regulations pertaining to mental health services and compliance requirements in California.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols and safety planning methodologies.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
