Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, gathering detailed information about clients’ mental health history, strengths, and resources.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, including clear, measurable goals and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and coordinated client care.
  • Manage crisis interventions by conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to support at-risk clients effectively.
  • Document all clinical interactions and maintain accurate client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that promote mental health awareness and coping strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds. Clients present with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. As an LCSW, your role is critical in providing empathetic support and expert guidance, empowering clients on their journey toward recovery and personal development.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to effectively address various mental health issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and relate well to clients and stakeholders.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in a hospice or palliative care setting, as well as those familiar with telehealth platforms, are preferred. Experience in facilitating support groups and psychoeducational workshops will enhance the overall effectiveness of the candidate in this role.
