What We're Looking For Trillium Health Resources is looking for a Data Engineer to join our IT Department. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and SSRS reporting skills, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. We're seeking someone with excellent technical and problem-solving abilities, and who can communicate effectively about both technical and non-technical topics.

This is a technical position responsible for the development and maintenance of Trillium's information reporting systems. If this sounds like you, apply today! On a typical day, you might: Design, develop and maintain Trillium reports and pertinent reporting platforms, including SQL/SSRS, Power BI, SSMS/SSRS and third-party solutions Coordinate with Informatics and Data Science staff, as needed.

Uses various analytical programs such as R or Python to support reporting functionality. Test programs or reporting, correct errors and make necessary modifications. Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.

Develop data models describing data elements and how they are used, following procedures and using pen, template or computer software. Requires certification. Applicable certification(s) may be substituted to equivalent degree and experience requirements.

OR Associate's degree in Information Technology / MIS, Mathematics (Actuarial/ Statistics), Data Analytics, Engineering Sciences, Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Services field or Sciences field. AND one (1) year of experience in any of the following areas: Information Technology / MIS, Mathematics (Actuarial/ Statistics), Data Analytics, Engineering Sciences, Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Services field, Sciences field, healthcare claims environment, reporting development, n-tier and web-based system development or support with strong technical knowledge in the specialized areas of application system programming, including software tools such as: SQL Server 2008 R2 or above, SQL, Oracle, NoSQL, MySQL, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Microsoft IIS and Microsoft .NET framework2.0 or above , Source Control, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, SSMS, Visual Studio BIDS, Visual Studio 2008 or above, C#. Preferred Experience: Recent experience with SQL database management or report development (Power BI, Analytical, R, Python, Visual Studio and /or SSRS) preferred.
