Project Managerย 

ROLE SUMMARYย 

The Project Manager independently manages the full lifecycle of small and medium-complexity SDLC projects, taking complete ownership of planning, execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role begins direct people management, contributes to sales pursuits, and activelyย participatesย in internal PMO improvement initiatives. The Project Managerย demonstratesย strong technical and soft skills in project delivery while building toward a broader leadership footprint.ย 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESย 

Product & PMO Knowledgeย 

  • Proficiently use Microsoft Suite, MS Project, Jira, RCC PSA, and RCC T1 PMO Toolsย 

  • Apply deep knowledge of the RCC T1ย methodologyย and industry best practicesย 

  • Demonstrate proficient understanding of multiple methodologiesย 

  • Provide project KPIs independently and make data-driven decisions with limited guidanceย 

  • Identifyย upstream and downstream impacts of changes to revenue, staffing, and timelinesย 

  • Work directly with client management teams and stakeholdersย 

Project & Program Deliveryย 

  • Manage 3+ full SDLC projects of small-to-medium complexity as sole PMย 

  • Create andย maintainย an Integrated Project Plan (IPP) reflecting RCC, third-party, and client activitiesย 

  • Break down deliverables, distribute work, and manage the team to successful deliveryย 

  • Identifyย dependencies and hidden activities not explicit in the contractย 

  • Proactively manage RAID items with effective mitigation plansย 

  • Achieve consensus across SI, client, and third-party stakeholdersย 

  • Handle escalations from both RCC team members and client-side contactsย 

  • Manage diverse project teams across geographies and hierarchy levelsย 

  • Deliver concise, informative project updates andย participateย in Steering Committeesย 

People Leadership & Managementย 

  • Manage 1โ€“3 direct reports and guide their career directionย 

  • Hold direct reports accountable for project and career responsibilitiesย 

  • Submit promotion recommendations and define performance improvement pathsย 

  • Proactively escalate team issues to manager or directorย 

  • Conduct interviews and provide hiring recommendationsย 

  • Submit employee recognition and foster a high-performance team cultureย 

  • Monitor and proactively manage billableย utilizationย across direct and indirect reportsย 

Sales & Business Developmentย 

  • Demonstrate full understanding of the sales landscape, services, and competitorsย 

  • Contribute to account expansion byย identifyingย client project and relationship opportunitiesย 

  • Own and respond to RFP LOEs for complex bids with sales partnershipย 

  • Identifyย and manage change request (CR) situations, presenting to clients with limited supportย 

  • Support short-list presentations and sales callsย 

  • Build andย maintainย relationships with client peers and Oracle PMsย 

  • Leverage network to uncover expansion and new client opportunitiesย 

Financial Acumenย 

  • Understand how the organization generates profits and apply this to project decisionsย 

  • Manage all project financial metrics proactively to deliver financially healthy projectsย 

  • Estimate, plan, and execute change requests withoutย impactingย committed scopeย 

  • Deliver projects on time and on budgetย 

  • Manage T&M, fixed price, and blended projects with minimal oversightย 

  • Maintainย accurateย revenue forecasts and explain variancesย

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONSย 

  • 5+ years of project management or directly relevant experienceย

  • DASM or equivalent agile certificationย requiredย
