Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support a migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience. The role involves analyzing existing business processes, gathering and translating requirements, and enabling the design of scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong insurance domain knowledge and a proven track record on Classic-to-Lightning migration programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess current-state (Classic) processes and define future-state (Lightning) solutions
  • Conduct discovery sessions and requirement elicitation workshops; translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and transformation opportunities during migration
  • Design and configure declarative solutions including workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and Lightning components
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, data models, and functional specs
  • Drive backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning with Product Owners
  • Support UAT planning, coordination, and defect resolution
  • Provide training, enablement, and change management support to drive user adoption
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of Salesforce Business Analyst experience
  • Proven Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration experience (minimum 1 full project)
  • Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning Experience features, limitations, and adoption tools
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
  • Agile/Scrum experience with tools such as Jira, ADO, and Confluence
  • Insurance domain knowledge
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst)
  • Experience with Lightning Readiness Reports, Usage App, and adoption metrics
