We are looking for an intake all-star to take us to the level closing wanted leads. Are you an elite sales closer? We are a well-established Massachusetts personal injury law firm with a 45-year legacy of helping injured individuals, police officers, firefighters, public servants, and working families. Our mission is simple: provide exceptional client service and fight aggressively to maximize results for people whose lives have been disrupted by serious injuries.

We are seeking a full-time Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. The ideal candidate would be local for in-person work, but remote work is potentially available for the right candidate. This role is critical to our firm's growth and success. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and highly skilled at communicating with people during stressful situations. We are looking for someone interested in working overlapping hours to cover 5-9pm EST on week days and weekend daytime EST hours as well.

Position Summary

The Intake Specialist will answer inbound calls, respond to online inquiries, conduct initial client screenings, gather case information, schedule consultations, and ensure that every prospective client receives a professional and caring experience. This also includes assisting in opening files, sending letters of rep, and helping new clients coordinate treatment.

This position works directly with attorneys and intake leadership to identify qualified cases and help prospective clients begin their path to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls from prospective clients
• Respond promptly to web leads, text messages, and emails
• Gather detailed information regarding accidents, injuries, medical treatment, insurance, and other relevant facts
• Build rapport and demonstrate empathy with callers experiencing difficult circumstances
• Evaluate potential cases using firm intake criteria
• Schedule consultations with attorneys
• Enter and maintain accurate information in the firm's case management and CRM systems
• Follow up with prospective clients who have not yet retained the firm
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff regarding new case opportunities
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Open files, send letters of rep, investigate insurance, coordinate new client treatment

Qualifications

Required

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Minimum 2 years of personal injury intake experience or high level sales experience
• Strong telephone communication skills
• Professional and compassionate demeanor
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Quiet and professional work environment
• Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours

Preferred

• Prior experience working for a U.S. law firm
• Personal injury intake experience
• Experience with CRM or case management software
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Experience handling high call volumes
