Job description

PLEASE NOTE: This role is on-site M-F, located in Tustin, CA. We do not offer remote or hybrid options. Please do not apply if you cannot be present on-site M-F.

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own social strategy and performance for Bedrosians — growing our engagement and community. You'll set content direction, turn performance data into next steps, and manage a growing network of creators, influencers, and designers, including partnerships and collaborations.

Our in-house creative team will assist with direction and production; you bring the platform expertise and performance rigor that shape what that creative needs to accomplish. You'll also shoot and edit native content yourself when needed. You'll partner closely with creative and internal teams, and coordinate with our paid social agency to keep organic and paid aligned.

Compensation:

$100,000 – $125,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Social Strategy & Performance

  • Build and own the social strategy end-to-end — audience growth, engagement, conversion, and retention — with clear goals and KPIs at every stage.

  • Turn platform, campaign, and site data into concrete, actionable recommendations for content, targeting, and creative direction — insights that change what gets made, not just a monthly readout.

  • Design and run an ongoing testing program across hooks, formats, messaging, and posting cadence, and use results to continuously refine the plan.

  • Report performance on a regular cadence, connecting social activity to business outcomes — traffic, leads, conversion, and retention.

Content Planning & Native Execution

  • Own the content calendar and day-to-day publishing cadence across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.

  • Partner with the creative team on campaign concepts, translating brand and business priorities into clear content briefs — they lead art direction and production; you make sure the output is platform-native and on-strategy.

  • Shoot and edit lighter, fast-turnaround native content (behind-the-scenes, trend-driven, UGC-style) as needed, working within the creative team's established visual direction rather than setting it independently.

  • Write and adapt captions and copy to match intent — from brand storytelling to conversion-focused copy.

Creator, Influencer & Designer Partnerships

  • Source, onboard, and manage a network of UGC creators, influencers, and designers who reflect Bedrosians' credibility with both trade pros and homeowners.

  • Own influencer and designer collaborations end-to-end — outreach, negotiation, briefing, and execution.

  • Write clear, performance-oriented briefs and keep a steady pipeline of creator and partner content for testing.

  • Track creator- and partner-level performance and double down on what drives results.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work side by side with the Creative Director and creative team as the strategy and performance counterpart to their creative leadership.

  • Partner with paid social, e-commerce, and trade marketing to align organic and paid strategy and keep creative fresh.

  • Coordinate with the paid social agency to identify organic content worth amplifying and flag where creative is starting to fatigue.

Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of experience in social media strategy, management, or performance marketing, with a track record of owning results — not just output.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect content to real business outcomes — not just engagement, but traffic, conversion, and repeat business.

  • Strong analytical ability; comfortable pulling insights from platform analytics, GA4, or similar tools and turning them into content and strategy decisions.

  • Experience partnering with a creative team or art director to execute campaigns, including writing briefs and giving platform-informed feedback.

  • Working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram/Meta, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, plus hands-on experience with a social scheduling/management tool such as Sprout Social or Dash Social.

  • Experience building and managing creator, influencer, and designer partnerships — outreach, negotiation, briefing, and rights management.

  • Strong copywriting instincts, able to move between brand storytelling and conversion-focused copy.

  • Excellent organizational skills — able to manage a content calendar, creator relationships, and cross-functional stakeholders at once without things slipping.

Nice to Have

  • A background or genuine interest in interior design, home furnishings, or a related lifestyle/design category — an eye for interiors and materials is a plus, though not required.

  • Basic native content shooting/editing skills (iPhone video, CapCut, or similar) for fast-turnaround content.

  • Experience in home, building products, or another considered-purchase DTC category.
