What are some common challenges faced in a Remote Asset Tracking role, and how can they be addressed?

A common challenge in Remote Asset Tracking is ensuring data accuracy and real-time visibility across distributed assets. Inaccurate location updates or connectivity issues can hinder effective monitoring and lead to operational delays. To address these issues, professionals use robust tracking software, regularly calibrate tracking devices, and establish clear communication protocols with on-site personnel. Proactively collaborating with IT and operations teams also helps resolve technical disruptions quickly and maintain seamless asset visibility.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Asset Tracking Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Asset Tracking Specialist, you need expertise in asset management, data analysis, and logistics, often supported by experience in supply chain or inventory management. Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, RFID technology, and asset management software such as SAP or Oracle is commonly required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication help you excel in coordinating with teams and responding to asset discrepancies. These skills ensure accurate asset monitoring, reduce losses, and optimize operational efficiency in organizations managing distributed resources.

What is remote asset tracking?

Remote asset tracking is the use of technology, such as GPS, IoT sensors, or specialized software, to monitor and manage the location and condition of physical assets from a distance. This system enables companies to track equipment, vehicles, or inventory in real time without being physically present. Remote asset tracking improves operational efficiency, reduces loss or theft, and provides valuable data for maintenance and planning. Many industries, including transportation, construction, and logistics, rely on remote asset tracking to optimize workflows and reduce costs.

Job description

Work with the Industry Leader

At Eon, our mission is to make patients healthier and healthcare affordable. Eon Patient Management, or EPM as we like to call it, identifies patients with disease risk and streamlines clinical decision analysis so clinicians can work at the top of their licenses. With unique solutions across multiple disease states, we drive unprecedented adherence to care pathways, so that more patients are seen and more survive. When patients win, healthcare systems win - both clinically and financially.

As a market leader in incidental tracking and patient management, Eon is pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence to enable healthcare enterprises, ranging from small health systems to large, national-scale IDN's. We have a unique and dynamic team that is focused on results, and employment opportunities both local to our Denver office, and remote based.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Clinical Workflow Specialist to join our team and help deliver exceptional onboarding experiences for our healthcare clients. In this role, you will support the successful implementation of clinical technology, collaborate on workflow design, and guide clients through the setup and adoption of Eon's Patient Management (EPM) solutions. You will help standardize processes, provide training, and act as a trusted advisor on best practices for clinical workflows.

This position requires clinical insight, project coordination skills, and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

As a Clinical Workflow Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate implementation activities in partnership with Project Managers to ensure all clinical onboarding tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Deliver product training for new users, ensuring clients are confident and equipped to use the platform.
  • Guide clients through approval of letters, decision aids, scripts, and ensure timely sign-off to support technical configuration and QA.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for each implementation, including project outlines, change request forms, and version tracking.
  • Perform clinical QA before go-live, ensuring configured assets such as letters and cohort field populations are accurate and aligned with client expectations.
  • Educate clients on change control processes and documentation requirements.
  • Advise clients on clinical workflows, helping them implement Eon's prescriptive best practices for patient communication and care pathway adherence.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, Client Success, and Project Management teams to manage timelines, deliverables, and post-go-live follow-up.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs to care management or account management teams once implementation is complete.
  • Participate in internal performance improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to optimize service delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with clients on project milestones, updates, and follow-ups to maintain alignment and satisfaction.

You will be a good fit if you can:

  • Balance clinical knowledge with a focus on technical implementation and workflow optimization.
  • Stay organized across multiple projects and clients while meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Embrace collaboration and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Troubleshoot, document, and escalate issues appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Clinical background (e.g., nursing, allied health, or similar healthcare role) preferred.
  • Experience in clinical workflow implementation, healthcare technology, or project management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and clinical operations software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
  • Comfortable working remotely with travel up to 25% as needed.

"So what's in it for me," you ask?

We pride ourselves for being a culture-based company buzzing with high-energy. Aside from the enthusiastic environment, you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive salary
  • Health insurance
  • Referral bonuses
  • Flexibile vacation time
  • Paid Maternity and Parental leave
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities
  • Awesome team members

If we still have your attention, don't delay, send us your resume.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $85,000 - $100,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base (CEPA) pay information is based on market location.
