• Conduct thorough client assessments to formulate individualized therapy strategies tailored specifically to their needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy, during one-on-one and group sessions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and continuing education opportunities, keeping abreast of advancements and best practices in mental health care.

Our clients include individuals from various backgrounds and age groups who often face significant barriers to accessing quality mental health care. You will work with clients dealing with challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma-related issues, and relationship difficulties. The ability to establish strong rapport with a diverse clientele will be essential in order to foster trust and encourage positive engagement in the therapeutic process.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with complex cases.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team environment.
• Proficiency with EMR software and related tools for documentation and billing purposes.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges, is an asset.

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload demands.
