• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client goals, which may include strategies for managing anxiety, depression, or trauma.
• Facilitating various forms of counseling, such as individual, couples, and group sessions, with a focus on active engagement and progress monitoring.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care and treatment continuity.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions, highlighting your ability to engage and support clients effectively.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities applicable to mental health treatment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, to articulate treatment plans and client progress.
• A committed approach to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field is highly preferred. Experience in community health settings or knowledge of contemporary mental health issues can further enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered an asset, as it facilitates the efficient management of client information.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
