JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Scranton's Center for Business Development and Community Outreachis seeking part time Youth Program Instructors.

These Youth Program Instructors are creative educators, who are enthusiastic and have a desire to teach children ages 6 - 16 to increase their interest and knowledge in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Instructors work with the Center's staff to develop curriculum and monitor the program.Instructors are also responsible for supervising camp counselors.

Camps run weekly July 8th through August 2nd, 2024, Training will take place prior to the first week of camp.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experienced educators only
  • Camp teaching experience preferred
  • Participation in Mandated Reporter Training for this camp season and successful completion of background checks is a requirement for the position

This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:

PA State Police Criminal Background Check

PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form

FBI Criminal Background Check.
