Position Summary

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (SDMS) is responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and lead acquisition by executing integrated campaigns across digital platforms. The SDMS will lead the digital content development and adaptation, channel selection, performance monitoring, reporting, and platform optimization. This involves a high level of cross-functional collaboration with Marketing Communications (Marcom) and Product Marketing, as well as other functional areas across the organization. As a collaborative, innovative professional, this individual will actively contribute to a results-driven culture that values teamwork, creativity, and accountability. 

Principal Responsibilities

   Lead the planning and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns, including marketing automation, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, and social media 
   Collaborate with Marketing and Marcom on audience targeting and segmentation, KPI definition, content, timing, and budgeting 
   Hands-on execution of marketing automation campaigns in the Adobe Marketo platform
   Hands-on campaign and lead management within the Salesforce CRM platform
   Manage, either directly or through an external partner, other digital advertising such as PPC, search, and programmatic 
   Work directly with association media partners to negotiate, buy, and track digital advertising
   Website support, including leading SEO tactics, metrics reporting, and content management liaison
   Produce reports/dashboards to track, assess, and share performance metrics across all digital channels and customer touchpoints. Analyze and provide recommendations to optimize performance
   Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines, global/regional email marketing regulations, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs)
   Serve as the digital marketing subject matter expert (SME) for the Acute Care business unit, keeping abreast of current technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Education / Experience Requirements

   Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business, or an associated field 
   5+ years of digital marketing experience (medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industry a plus)
   2+ years of experience in marketing automation with an enterprise-level solution such as Adobe Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
   2+ years of experience in social media management
   Demonstrated success working in a remote or hybrid environment 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

   Proven track record of leading and managing digital marketing initiatives, including campaigns supporting new product launches and ongoing marketing efforts
   Ability to analyze marketing plans to develop appropriate digital marketing strategies and tactics
   Strong analytical skills: adept at analyzing and interpreting digital campaign results to generate insights and recommendations
   Knowledge and experience with CRM and content management systems, PPC advertising tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads Campaign Manager)
   Excellent writing skills and strong verbal communication
   Ability to build strong relationships in a matrixed environment; lead and influence laterally
   Strong project management skills with a high tolerance for change; self-motivated, conscientious, and detail-oriented in completing deliverables 
   Proficient in MS Office Suite, with working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suite being an advantage
