This position is located at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania.

Duties
Help
  • Assists the Business Manager in directing the operations and supervision of multiple food service facilities.
  • Recommends and enforces operating procedures.
  • Assist Business Manager in the selection of employees and in training new employees to work in situations, compliance with health and safety standards, and proper use of storage of tools and equipment.
  • Completes cash reports and makes daily deposits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • Work experience directly related to the duties to be performed. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower pay level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, stressful environment.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess a certificate for sanitation in food service or have the ability to obtain the certificate within three months of employment.

Experience must be reflected on resume to receive credit.
