• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' addiction history and mental health status, ensuring a precise understanding of their personal challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying mental health issues, focusing on clients' unique needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and structured group therapy meetings utilizing proven evidence-based practices, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.
• Collaborate with other treatment team members to ensure integrated care approaches are in place, allowing for holistic support across various treatment modalities.
• Educate clients’ families about the recovery process and provide guidance on effective support strategies to enhance engagement in their loved one's treatment journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate record-keeping and confidentiality.

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing substance use challenges, many of whom may also deal with co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related conditions. You will witness firsthand the profound impact of your work, as clients strive to reclaim their lives and establish sustainable, healthy habits.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Washington is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly preferred, equipping you to handle the unique challenges this population faces.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
