The client is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with strong expertise in PowerCenter, IICS, ETL automation, and Snowflake SQL development to support the HHSC Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS) data integration hub initiative.

The ideal candidate will work within an Agile development environment to design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale data integration and analytics solutions. This role involves automating data acquisition from multiple data sources, developing complex SQL transformations, building dimensional data models, and supporting business intelligence and data visualization initiatives.

The position requires deep hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, Snowflake SQL optimization, ETL workflows, and enterprise data warehousing practices. The candidate should also possess strong analytical, technical writing, and collaboration skills, with prior experience supporting healthcare or government-related environments preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.

  • Automate data acquisition and integration from multiple enterprise data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF.

  • Develop complex and high-performing Snowflake SQL scripts and database transformations.

  • Build and support dimensional data models, views, and materialized views.

  • Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams on optimal data integration strategies.

  • Perform verification, validation, and testing of ETL workflows, SQL scripts, and database objects.

  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, planning sessions, and design reviews.

  • Develop technical documentation, diagrams, and implementation specifications.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support operational enhancements of the data integration hub.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to validate requirements and solution designs.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

  • Develop scripts using Python for automation and data processing tasks.

  • Assist with implementation of developmental tools and deployment processes.

  • Support integration initiatives using REST/SOAP web services and Mulesoft technologies.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare security standards involving PII and PHI data.

  • Contribute to AI-driven development initiatives using Snowflake Cortex, Informatica Claire, or similar AI tools.

Required Skills:

  • 14+ years of experience in ETL/Data Integration development.

  • Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS.

  • Experience integrating data from Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDF sources.

  • Advanced experience with Snowflake SQL development and query optimization.

  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and enterprise data warehousing concepts.

  • Experience with Tableau data visualization integrations.

  • Proficiency in Python scripting and automation development.

  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services and API integrations.

  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Mulesoft development preferred.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Understanding of healthcare security principles and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.

  • Prior experience in Healthcare Industry preferred.

  • Prior experience with HHS agencies preferred.

  • Experience handling PII/PHI data preferred.

  • Informatica PowerCenter or IICS certifications preferred.

  • Snowflake certification preferred.
