Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Greenville, SC Type: Direct Hire Compensation: 110k-130k plus great benefits Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance:

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and oversee major aspects of construction work, including organizing the acquisition of materials, equipment, and workers.
  • Plan for costs and support the Project Manager and Superintendent on various tasks.
  • Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel.
  • Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
  • May be responsible for bid analysis, constructability reviews, and permit processing.
  • Inspect all work to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Offer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
  • Have a general understanding of project budget and assist with buyouts.
  • Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis, provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to PM or Superintendent as appropriate.
  • Plan and organize construction engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Generate project punch list and closeout documentation.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical.
  • Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years experience in commercial projects (i.e., solar projects, battery energy storage system projects, energy performance contracts).
  • Excellent communications skills required for interaction with vendors, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Exposure to MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) AutoCAD, Revit, and Blue Beam.
  • Minimum experience of 0 years.
