Human Resources Strategy Consultant
Flex HR - Remote (Preference for Atlanta or Chicago)
Flex HR is a full service Human Resources outsourcing firm supporting growing organizations across the United States. We are seeking a self-directed, experienced HR Strategy Consultant to develop, implement, and optimize HR strategy and administration for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is fully remote, with ideal proximity to Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL for occasional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update employee handbooks and HR policies for clients
  • Conduct comprehensive benefits audits and recommend improvements
  • Build and maintain organizational charts and workforce planning tools
  • Define, track, and analyze HR-related KPIs
  • Create and support ongoing employee growth and development plans
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Administer and track leaves of absence
  • Partner with managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
  • Ensure HR compliance across multiple states and regulatory environments
  • Optimize existing HR technology and support implementation of new systems

Qualifications:
  • Ideally operate as an independent consultant with an established LLC
  • Remote role; proximity to Atlanta or Chicago is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience
  • 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage workload, and balance client needs
  • Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment
