In your role as an LCPC, you will engage in a variety of professional tasks that directly influence client outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans addressing their unique mental health needs.
• Facilitate effective communication with all relevant stakeholders, including supervisors, healthcare providers, family members, and guardians, to monitor client progress and modify care as needed.
• Maintain a detailed schedule that outlines appointments, home visits, and ongoing observations, ensuring all care activities are documented accurately.
• Implement treatment plans and conduct follow-up sessions, including home visits and observations to assess therapeutic efficacy and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize client care.
• Produce regular progress notes that document treatment outcomes and strategies for further improvement.
• Organize and facilitate training sessions to equip staff and team members with effective implementation of treatment programs and documentation procedures.
• Actively engage in community outreach to build relationships within the mental health community and enhance program developmental goals.
• Uphold a high standard of legal and ethical practices in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

The Thriving Center of Counseling serves a diverse client population, including adults, youth, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our counseling approach includes specialized treatment for issues such as trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. The ideal candidate for our LCPC position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• A proven capacity for collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant technology to efficiently manage client information.

We highly value experience in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care. Candidates with specialized training or certifications in these areas will be favored, as they align with our treatment objectives and community needs.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload factors. Our benefits package includes:
