• Establish and nurture a trusting and empathetic relationship with clients, ensuring a safe space for open dialogue during sessions.
• Utilize comprehensive assessment techniques to diagnose mental health conditions and assess individual client needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals, reviewing them regularly to ensure progress.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities that promote healing and resilience.
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
• Make referrals to other specialists or community resources when necessary, to support comprehensive client care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is a preferred asset.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate clients through counseling and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

• Prior experience in a community health setting or outpatient therapy services.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant technologies to maintain patient information.
