Location: Fully Remote (United States)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Epic Application Analyst II โ€“ Inpatient to support the analysis, configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic inpatient applications. This role is ideal for an experienced Epic analyst who can work with moderate supervision, manage assigned initiatives, and collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.

The analyst will support both Epic and integrated thirdโ€‘party applications while helping ensure system functionality aligns with clinical and operational needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Epic application system analysis and design, including requirements gathering, specifications, configuration, testing, documentation, and implementation
  • Provide Epic application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting
  • Assist with support and troubleshooting of integrated nonโ€‘Epic, thirdโ€‘party applications
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
  • Conduct beginner to intermediate analysis of Epic inpatient application design to support implementation planning and maximization of system benefits
  • Assist in issue resolution, issue tracking, and communication with peers, leadership, and stakeholders
  • Manage assigned projects with minimal to moderate guidance and meet established deadlines
  • Gather and analyze client/business requirements and participate in design sessions
  • Develop and maintain reference materials such as status reports, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials
  • Build inโ€‘depth knowledge of assigned Epic inpatient module(s) and understand integration across other Epic modules
  • Advocate for departmental initiatives, processes, and best practices
  • Support a positive, collaborative, and professional team environment
  • Adhere to application change management processes, including communication, planning, execution support, and postโ€‘change reporting

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or equivalent experience preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting Epic applications

Certifications

  • Epic certification or proficiency in an applicable inpatient module required
  • Additional Epic certifications are a plus

  • Selfโ€‘motivated team player able to work with minimal to moderate supervision
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problemโ€‘solving skills
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines

Work Expectations
  • Fully remote role within the following States:ย  VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, WV, LA
  • Standard business hours Mondayโ€“Friday
