Job Description
As an Industry Account Manager you will develop and implement sales strategies to accelerate and identify growth opportunities to exceed annual sales goals. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Industry, you will also lead the strategy for Information Software and IoT solutions, coordinating efforts between Rockwell, our partners and selected accounts. You will focus on opportunistic pursuits, new business, conversion of new business, identifying and closing new contracts and deals.
You will report to the Sales Manager, Industry and may work remotely from anywhere in Wisconsin.
Your Responsibilities:
  • You will lead the account strategy for Information Software, IoT and our core hardware portfolio within selected accounts in the territory.
  • You'll collaborate with Rockwell Information Software (IS) Account Rep Team for Lead Generation, IS Sales resources and regional solution consultants, and Rockwell Sales pursuit desk.
  • You will establish relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base and understand customer process, goals and organizational models.
  • You will follow the Rockwell Automation sales process: know assigned accounts, plan for growth, maintain a healthy funnel, lead opportunities to closure and evaluate performance to goal.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
  • A valid drivers license.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5+ years of sales experience selling through distributors or channel partners.
  • Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, channel sales or system integration
  • Experience selling digital transformation solutions, IIoT and industry 4.0 offerings
  • Knowledge of the Integrator Ecosystem for software and hardware solution delivery

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $142,240 - $213,360 of which 60% is base salary and 40% is variable. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
