Job Title: Camunda BPMN/Developer 

Location: Fully Remote role 

US Citizenship Required 

Qualifications

BPMN/DMN Developer
Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree and approximately:  6+ years of relevant experience for a senior level developer, 3-6 years for a mid-level developer, and 1-2 years for a junior level developer. 
  • US Citizen

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant technical field
  • Possess a combination of the following:
    • Able to work and collaborate remotely, with Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SME), be self-directed, work independently and communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner) to implement robust solutions.
    • Experience with BPMN/orchestration/process automation
    • Experience with translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Design, development, testing, deploying, and debugging Camunda 7 and 8 applications (or similar technology)
    • Configuring a Camunda environment
    • Working with Microservices architecture using Camunda BPMN
    • Working in cloud environments.
    • Experience with enterprise messaging systems (EMS, Kafka) and in-memory databases.
    • Working with traditional relational or document databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases
    • Experience working with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket)
    • Working knowledge of Agile methodology

Some combination of the following:

  • Knowledge with migrating legacy BPM processes and rules to the latest version of Camunda.
  • Experience with Java and Java web frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
  • Experience of integrating Camunda with other applications via REST APIs
  • Experiencing leading and/or mentoring junior developers
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and an understanding of cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud databases, CI/CD, serverless computing etc.
  • Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, VB/C#, Python, Ruby, .Net etc.
  • Experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular, VueJS, React etc.)
  • Experience with Automated API testing using tools such as JBehave, cucumber, or Selenium.
