Job Description
The Vice President of Marketing will lead and evolve M3 MR Group’s global marketing strategy to accelerate revenue growth, strengthen the Group’s position as a trusted healthcare market research and insights partner, and support continued expansion across regions, panels, solutions, and operating brands.
This role owns M3 MR Group’s brand, demand generation, product/solutions marketing, communications, and sales enablement globally, setting standards, toolkits, and performance management across regions and business units. The postholder will ensure the Group’s differentiated strengths—proprietary healthcare panels, quality, compliance, speed, and insight delivery—are clearly articulated and monetized across all client segments and markets.
The role is a senior leadership position, requiring strategic vision, commercial rigour, and hands‑on execution, working closely with Sales, Operations, Client Services, and the wider M3 Group.
Key responsibilities include:
Global Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Define and deliver a cohesive global marketing strategy for M3 MR Group, aligned to revenue growth and long‑term positioning
- Act as senior marketing leader and partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
- Establish clear marketing priorities, operating plans, and global KPIs
- Ensure consistency of message, brand, and execution across regions (US, Europe, APAC)
- Own marketing ROI, budget efficiency, and performance optimisation
Revenue Growth & Demand Generation
- Drive measurable pipeline growth through integrated B2B demand generation and account‑based marketing (ABM)
- Partner closely with global and regional Sales leaders to improve lead quality, conversion, and commercial effectiveness
- Support strategic account growth, new client acquisition, and cross‑sell of M3 MR Group capabilities across operating brands and solutions
Brand, Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Own global brand positioning for M3 MR Group within healthcare market research and insights
- Define and manage the group brand architecture—clearly differentiating M3 MR Group’s brands and propositions, with distinct positioning, messaging, and use‑cases while maintaining a consistent group‑level narrative
- Clearly communicate M3’s differentiation: proprietary physician panels, data quality, compliance, speed, and global scale
- Lead thought leadership initiatives across healthcare research, insights, and methodology
- Oversee PR, conferences, sponsorships (e.g. ephmra, BHBIA, Intellus), content, and external communications
Product & Solutions Marketing
- Translate M3’s diverse research capabilities into compelling, client‑focused value propositions
- Own go‑to‑market strategies for new solutions, methodologies, and market expansions
- Develop high‑impact sales enablement materials across proposals, decks, case studies, and credentials
- Support pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning in collaboration with Commercial leadership
Communications
- Own an integrated communication plan across all group brands and products, and make sure that all communications remain on brand and on message
- Ensure an appropriate cadence of high quality communications across all channels, brands and products
- Maximise the leverage of thought leadership, events and product developments throughout communications
Digital & Marketing Infrastructure
- Lead global digital marketing strategy (web, SEO/SEM, email, paid media, marketing automation)
- Ensure tight integration between marketing systems, CRM, and sales processes
- Use data and insights to continually improve campaign performance and client engagement
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing global marketing team
- Define clear roles, success metrics, and development pathways
- Establish scalable marketing processes and best practices across M3 MR Group
- Manage agencies and partners efficiently and commercially
Cross‑Functional & Group Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Client Services, Product, and Finance
- Align with broader M3 Group branding and governance where required, while ensuring clarity and consistency across M3 MR Group operating brands and propositions
- Represent Marketing in executive, leadership, and board‑level discussions

Minimum:
