Job description

Role Summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Senior Editorial Copywriter to craft highly engaging copy to support its Anthropologie Home channels. This role plays a critical part in shaping the Anthropologie Home voice, ensuring consistency and creativity across in-store, print, email, digital, social, and seasonal and evergreen campaigns. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with demonstrated experience within the Home Furnishings/Housewares/Entertaining space. You'll partner closely with strategists, designers, and art directors, and should have a high comfort level co-creating, pitching and presenting to senior leaders.

Role Responsibilities
  • Act as lead copywriter and team expert for editorial copy and content on site, social, print, out of home, and outbound marketing adjacent deliverables
  • Act as team point of contact when collaborating cross-functionally on tactical concepts and initiatives for Anthropologie Home editorial storytelling
  • Support the Director of Editorial Copy with editorial franchise development, content series, and other editorial frameworks to guide the rest of the Brand Voice team
  • Support managers and senior managers of the Brand Voice team in developing resources and efficiencies to optimize the work
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the team by reviewing work, top editing, providing initial feedback, leading brainstorms, and exemplifying leadership skills
  • Stay continually in tune with the wider culture of the Home Furnishings/Housewares/Entertaining space to ensure storytelling is fresh, modern, and relevant, and to serve as a source of inspiration for the team
Role Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing within the Home Furnishings/Housewares/Entertaining space
  • Strong editorial skills with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging messaging
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and style consistency
  • Experience supporting editorial and content strategies
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems
  • Adaptability and problem-solving
  • Strategic thinking and consumer engagement
  • True passion for furniture, interior design, food, hosting, gardening, and the Anthropologie Home brand
  • Open to to all applicants- local, hybrid, remote
  • Must have Home copy experience 

The wage range for this role is $72,500- $95,900 .Wages are based on several factors, including, but not limited to, experience, education, geographic location, etc."
